I have extensive experience gained over 12 years of building and maintaining personal computers and I regularly perform new builds for our customers and also hard drive duplication for other system builders.
Primarily I serve the local area (Sevenoaks) as this allows me to visit clients in person and to return the computer to base if necessary.
I do however accept PC's, Mac's and Laptops posted to me from across the UK for repair or just general maintenance. My fee for this work is £12.50 per hour for the first five hours work. I will negotiate a fixed fee for any jobs that may take longer to complete, serious or multiple viruses are often a good example of this. Return postage £10.

PC and Laptop Repair Process
Depending on the symptoms, the computer will be subjected to several diagnostic tests to help determine the problem and its root cause. Once the nature of the fault is established I will calculate a final price based on any components needed and the labour to fit and test the machine upon completion.
The process for Viruses differs as there is generally nothing wrong with the hardware. With viruses I often negotiate a fixed fee as it's not uncommon to spend a day trying to remove them.
